A message from Dr. Harry

I'd like to personally welcome you to Dr Harry's Hobby Farm. 'Arcadian Downs' has been our home since October 1992 and now we would like to share with you the special magic which has cast its spell over us since we arrived here all those years ago.

The farm also has personal historical significance, because it is here that the opening sequences of 'Harry's Practice' were filmed. On your visit, you can see the stables, the sloping lawns, the garden arches, the water features and the cattery where so many of the wonderful stories were recorded. You can even have your picture taken just where Katrina and I used to sit; outside the stable door.

So if you feel a touch of nostalgia, and you'd like to visit the home of 'Harry's Practice', then this is what it's all about - this is where it started, this is where the animals live, and it's less than twenty minutes' drive from the centre of Launceston.
