We are a team of experienced professionals with a track record in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, research, corporate advisory, senior management and board roles. We are passionate about building successful businesses and we want to help pioneer an investment class focused on profitable companies with clear social/environmental/ethical impact.

Catalyst Fund 1 has been launched with a cornerstone investment from Barclays Bank with a target of raising £40m.
We look to invest £2m to £6m in each deal, with a minimum threshold of £2m and with an ability to invest up to 15% of the Fund per investment.

We focus on growth companies in the UK, principally providing growth and expansion capital for businesses that can achieve high financial returns (financial criteria) alongside tangible social benefits (social criteria) and we seek to work with management to add value to the underlying businesses.
Catalyst will focus its investments on four key sectors:

• Energy Efficiency & Environment
• Health & Wellness
• Education, Training & Recruitment
• Ethical Consumerism

Catalyst Fund 1 is managed by a strong team of entrepreneurial individuals with a track record of private equity and venture capital investing across a range of industries; investment industry senior management and non-executive board roles in helping companies to succeed.
