We are a small, friendly, independent day and boarding school for girls from 3-16 years with the wonderful advantage of being situated in the heart of Hampstead Village.
Our classes are small and our pupil/teacher ratio excellent so that all our girls can benefit from the personal attention of their teachers and a bespoke individual learning plan.
First School (age 3-7)
LAYING SOLID FOUNDATIONS FOR EARLY YEARS
In the Nursery & Reception classes, girls learn through play based activities within a nurturing and caring environment.
All pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence and sense of wonder at the world through diverse and creative teaching.
Lower School (age 7-11)
GAINING INDEPENDENCE AND A LOVE FOR LEARNING
Girls in the Lower School develop confidence and their independent skills to research and explore the subjects they are studying.
Years 3 to 6 meet every week in their assembly time to share good work, learn about the many religious faiths represented at the school, and discover which House is on course to win the prestigious Merit Cup.
The Lower School has many inter-house competitions ranging from Singing to Netball, where all girls gain an opportunity to develop leadership and performance skills.
Middle School (age 11-14)
A BROAD & BALANCED CURRICULUM
During the Middle School, the girls acquire a broad and balanced knowledge of the world around them.
As well as exploring the traditional subjects such as English, Maths, Geography, History and Science to a high level, girls can pursue many other areas of study.
Middle School girls can also experience our brand new Adler Library where they can relax, research and study 3000 new titles as well as enjoy our amazing Design & Technology Centre.
Upper School (age 14-16)
INDEPENDENCE, RESPONSIBILITY AND ACADEMIC SUCCESS
The Upper School encourages maturity and academic success through building responsibility and confidence.
A wide range of GCSE subjects are offered along side tailor-made curriculums such as Sociology GCSE. Many opportunities are open to girls including becoming prefects, participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme or becoming a Childline Counsellor.
Academic results are excellent and Upper School Girls are not only prepared for their GCSEs but much guidance is given in selecting their sixth form choices.
We have alliances with excellent GSA schools and many colleges.
