COFFEE: We aim to give each of our customers a memorable coffee experience every time. We purchase only the highest-quality beans available from the world’s finest coffee growing regions. Each growing region contributes a characteristic flavour that is unique to that area. These premium-grade beans are then blended and freshly roasted to reach their optimum flavour and aroma at our roasting warehouses around Australia. Di Bella Coffee provides a selection of signature blends to suit any coffee palete. Whichever blend you choose, you are assured that your coffee is made with the finest green beans from around the world and expertly roasted and blended.

 

 

PRICE: Many companies inflate their prices to cover expenses for merchandise that ultimately markets their coffee brand. Our focus is to help your bottom line by helping you sell more coffee. We supply our roasted coffee at more competitive prices than our colleagues without compromising quality or consistency. We embrace our ‘Crop to Cup’ approach which provides a guarantee of a higher price direct to the farmer. Thus enabling a strong basis for sustainable farming and the finances to achieve a better quality of life on the farms.

 

 

SERVICE AND EDUCATION: Our dedicated team members pride themselves on superior service. We have many years of combined experience; our entire team is made up of industry professionals. We understand that a memorable coffee experience starts with our coffee and ends with your barista, which is why training and education is at the heart of our service standards.

WOLFGANG KELKE Master Pastry Chef, is the King of Cakes. His passion for culinary excellence has seen him work in some of the world’s finest restaurants and cake shops, gaining a wealth of technical expertise which he combines with the use of traditional artisan baking methods.

These techniques include baking in stone ovens and using recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Wolfgang adds his own secret blend of spices, and authentic German and Bavarian cakes, pastries and breads come out of the ovens with aromas and tastes that invigorate your soul.

Wolfgang’s desire to create more than just cakes began when he was a child working in the family Café business in Munich. He went onto complete his baking apprenticeship with honours while working in one of Munich’s leading cake shops, Café Arzmiller.

His thirst for broader experience propelled him into the Catering and Party Services Sector where he worked with Feinkost Kafter. His passion for culinary excellence continued to drive him forward and so he took off to travel the world. He picked up work in London and Bermuda before returning home to take up a position as the Executive Pastry Chef for Movenpik in Munich.

His obsession to produce quality cakes of artistic perfection didn’t waver and so he took his career to the next level and went back to school in Munich. Over the next twelve months he completed his master certificate “Meisterbrief” with honours once again. These qualifications and passion for perfection, opened many new doors and opportunities including scoring a position as the Head Pastry Chef for another leading bakery in Munich.

Finally comfortable with the achievements in his homeland, Wolfgang decided it was time to take his craft to the rest of the world. He and his family decided to settle down in Brisbane where he opened the doors to his first cake shop in Taringa in 1990 and hasn’t looked back since.

There are now three King of Cakes shops across Brisbane all using traditional techniques and recipes under Wolfgang’s direction. He proudly states he is an Australian but his heritage will always be German and those traditions and passions will continue to influence his product creations and culinary excellence for our enjoyment.

CityCare Brisbane is a Deductible Tax Recipient and a not-for-profit Charitable Institution. The organisation operates under its own by-laws and is accountable to a governing board. CityCare Brisbane is the community care expression of City Church.

CityCare Brisbane was founded in 1995 to assist marginalised people in Brisbane. In July 2008 CityCare expanded it's services and opened CityCare Logan.
