An Australian businessman, entrepreneur, and self-proclaimed philanthropist based in Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory.
Snow is Executive Director of the Canberra Airport Group,[1] the company which owns the lease for the land which contains Canberra International Airport, Brindabella Business Park, Defence Establishment Fairbairn and associated Fairbairn Business Park, and the Majura Park shopping precinct. Snow's attempt to develop land around the Canberra Airport has been controversial. Specific criticisms include that it removes jobs from Civic, diminishes Canberra's town centre, and causes unnecessary congestion on roads originally designed exclusively for airport traffic.
Snow established the Snow Foundation in 1990 along with his brother, George. Now valued at over A$10 million, it donates to regional charities and organisations helping needy people.
In 2005 he published the "Living City" proposal for the redevelopment of Canberra. This caused some controversy, especially after the proposal's rebuff by the ACT Government and combined with his provocative assertion that Canberra is a "dead-set boring" city that had been "going backwards since self-government".
Snow holds a commercial pilot license for fixed wing aircraft and rotary wing aircraft and has a command instrument rating.

In the 20 years since it was established, The Snow Foundation has reached out to help more than 140 different organisations and individuals.
The Foundation is the creation of brothers Terry and George Snow who set it up in 1990 with the aim of helping those individuals and organisations that freely give their time to help the less fortunate live fulfilling lives.
‘We were humbled by the outstanding work done by so many quiet achievers in our community. We saw the Foundation as an opportunity to try to make a difference to the lives of many people who, for reasons beyond their control, were doing it tough,’ they said.
Starting with an initial contribution of $1 million, the Foundation has provided financial help to a diverse range of organisations including:
Since establishment Terry has added substantially to the Foundation to enable it to maintain its existing activities and set-up new activities. The Foundation now has over $10m in capital.
Over the years, the Foundation has assisted with the purchase of vital medical equipment and supplies for people with disabilities; kitchen utensils for the blind; circus stilts to help children with balance and movement; wigs for the Cancer Council; breakfasts and educational scholarships for disadvantaged youth; art supplies for the ‘Painting with Parkinson’s program; sleep monitor, sofa, bobcat and bikes.
The size of donations varies greatly and can be as little as a few hundred dollars to more substantial sums for programs that affect a large number of people.
We have funded approximately $3m since the foundations inception in 1990.
