An English actress and producer.
She is the second wife of the musician Sting.
Styler was born in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, England. She attended North Bromsgrove High School, where one of her teachers was Clifford T. Ward. She went on to train at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and starred in various period BBC productions, including Poldark in 1977.
Styler is a close friend of John Vivian Ritchie, Guy Ritchie's father. After a phone call from Matthew Vaughn's godfather, Peter Morton, who was also a close friend of Vivian Ritchie, she became an investor of the Ritchie/Vaughn Ska Films productions, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. Along with Sting, she introduced Madonna to her second husband, Ritchie, and is godmother to the couple's son Rocco.
Styler lived with Sting for about ten years before marrying him on 20 August 1992.[citation needed] They have four children: Bridget Michael (a.k.a. "Mickey," born 1984), Jake (born 1985), Eliot Paulina Sumner (nicknamed "Coco," born 1990,) and Giacomo Luke (born 1995). Her daughter Eliot is the lead singer and frontman for the band I Blame Coco, and her son Jake is a model.
The couple own several houses worldwide, including an Elizabethan manor house, Lake House and its 60-acre country estate in Wiltshire, England, a country cottage in the Lake District, a New York City apartment, a beach house in Malibu, California, a 900-acre (3.6 km2) estate in Tuscany, Italy, which produces organic honey and olive oil for Harrods, and two properties in London: an apartment on the Mall and an 18th century terrace house in Highgate.
In 1989 the couple founded the Rainforest Foundation, which has raised more than $25 million to support indigenous rainforest peoples and help them protect their ancestral lands. Styler is also an Ambassador for Unicef, for which she has raised more than $5.5million.
In the mid-nineties, Styler established Xingu Films, a production company dedicated to supporting new talent, such as Guy Ritchie, Dito Montiel and Duncan Jones. Dito Montiel's A GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING YOUR SAINTS was a double Sundance award-winner, while Duncan Jones's MOON won the director a BAFTA in 2010 and Xingu Films a BAFTA nomination. In late July 2008, it was announced that Xingu had optioned American Reaper, an upcoming graphic novel written by Pat Mills, who will also write the screenplay.
In 2008, it was reported that Styler donated £10,000 into the charitable Ama Sumani cancer fund. Sumani was terminally ill with cancer and unable to afford treatment in her native Ghana, but had been deported from a Cardiff hospital after the expiry of her visa. Sumani died on March 19, 2008.

About Us
Every year an area of rainforest the size of England and Wales is cut down.
This leaves local people homeless, drives animals and plants to extinction and releases more CO2 emissions, which cause climate change, than all of the world’s planes, trains and cars.
Tropical deforestation is an issue that affects us all.
The Rainforest Foundation tackles deforestation locally and globally. Locally it helps forest communities to gain land rights, challenge logging companies and manage forests for their own wellbeing and protection of their environment. Globally it campaigns to influence national and international laws to protect rainforests and their inhabitants.
Since it was founded in 1989 the Rainforest Foundation has helped indigenous and local communities to protect more than 100,000 square kilometers of rainforest .
Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Rainforest Foundation UK is to support indigenous peoples and traditional populations of the world's rainforest in their efforts to protect their environment and fulfil their rights to land, life and livelihood by assisting them in:
1. Securing and controlling the natural resources necessary for their long term well being and managing these resources in ways which do not harm their environment, violate their culture or compromise their future.
2. Developing means to protect their individual and collective rights and obtain, shape and control basic services from the state.
The Soil Association was founded in 1946 by a group of farmers, scientists and nutritionists who observed a direct connection between farming practice and plant, animal, human and environmental health.
Today the Soil Association is the UK's leading organic organisation, with over 200 staff based in Bristol and Edinburgh and working as certification inspectors across the country. The Soil Association's director is Patrick Holden, who reports to the Council of Trustees.
You might expect something so vital to be organised and supported by the government. But in fact the Soil Association is a charity, reliant on donations and on the support of its members and the public to carry out its work.
The Soil Association is a charity registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Our charity number is 206862. Soil Association Certification Ltd is a subsidiary of the charity which undertakes certification. As a subsidiary company, any surplus income is passed on to the Soil Association charity to raise awareness, and develop and safeguard the entire organic sector.
