The Zig Zag Foundation
The Zig Zag Foundation, launched in May 2007. It is a charity that raises funds for sick, at risk or underprivileged children between the age of 0 and 18 years. The Foundation raises it's money through several events a year or direct donations and sponsorship. The money raised is then distributed to local and national registered charities.
The difference with the Zig Zag Foundation is that they run and operate purely on a voluntary basis. Therefore ensuring that the money they provide in funding goes directly to special projects, needs and research. No funding is granted for administration, wages, marketing or operational costs - therefore ensuring that the money goes directly to the children and families that need it.
The Foundation monitors this whole process to ensure the money is spent correctly and each funding application goes through a detailed review process by a funding committee made up of medical industry specialists.
Over the last few years the Zig Zag Foundation has helped our 41 charities and given out in excess of $700,000 and this continues to grow each year.
The mission is clear to give every dollar to the kids that need it!
